Magento Performance Audit

A senior architect measures your Magento 2 or Adobe Commerce store under your real traffic, finds what’s actually costing you checkouts, and hands you a ranked roadmap your team can implement — or that we can. You know the number and the timeline before we start.

$1,500 flat 5 working days 40 checkpoints One prioritized plan
40 checkpoints measured
8 focus areas
5 working days, flat fee
100% read-only, non-invasive

Who this is for

$500K–$10M a year on Magento, with a small team or none.

The store works — but:

Checkout feels slow, and you suspect it’s costing sales you’ll never see.

Traffic is growing and you’re not sure the platform scales with it.

A previous agency left you with extensions you don’t understand and a site nobody wants to touch.

You’re weighing a migration or re-platform and want a second senior opinion before you spend $50K finding out.

You have budget and you don’t need convincing that speed matters. You need someone to tell you what to fix first.

The case for measuring first

What’s actually slow is rarely what you think.

A red Lighthouse score tells you the store is slow. It doesn’t tell you whether it’s an unindexed category page, a third-party loyalty extension wrapping every request, a Full Page Cache that isn’t hitting, or a checkout blocked on a slow shipping API.

Those are four different first moves, and three of them are wrong for your store. The audit exists to tell them apart — in order of revenue impact.

What you get

A 5-day engagement, one concrete deliverable set.

01

A 40-point audit

Across eight areas: Core Web Vitals, caching, PHP & application config, database & indexing, catalog & search, third-party extensions & custom code, infrastructure & ops, and the checkout path.

02

A security bottleneck report

The rate-limiting, bot-load, and access issues that show up as performance problems.

03

A prioritized remediation roadmap

Every finding scored by severity and estimated effort, with quick wins separated from structural work.

04

A branded PDF action plan

Written to be handed straight to your own developers.

05

A 1-hour strategy call

To walk through it and answer “so what do we do Monday?”

All 40 points

How the 5 days run

Day 1
Access set up; baseline measurement under your real traffic and your top templates — not a synthetic test on an empty cart.
Days 2–3
The deep audit: all 40 checkpoints across the eight areas, on your actual store and infrastructure.
Day 4
Synthesis — findings ranked by revenue impact, quick wins split from structural work.
Day 5
PDF action plan delivered, followed by the 1-hour strategy call.

The measurement is read-only and non-invasive — we don’t deploy code or change configuration on your live store as part of the audit.

Why us

A senior architect does the work — start to finish.

No discovery call with a closer and delivery by a junior. The senior who measures your store is the one writing the plan and on the call.

10+ years on Magento and Laravel architecture.

MENA-based, serving global clients. Deep platform knowledge, not a generic “web performance” checklist.

Evidence over opinion.

Every finding is something we measured on your store, with the number attached.

Honesty is the business model.

If the audit surfaces fixes your own team can ship, we’ll say so. Plenty of audits end with a roadmap and a handshake.

What this is not

  • Not a Lighthouse screenshot with a quote stapled to it.
  • Not a generic checklist that ignores your catalog size, traffic shape, and extension stack.
  • Not a trap that only makes sense if you then sign a retainer. The audit stands on its own.

What happens after

Most audits go one of three ways, and all three are fine.

  1. 1

    Your team implements the roadmap.

You paid $1,500 to know exactly what to do and in what order. Good outcome.

  2. 2

    You want it done.

The audit converts into an Architecture Build — the roadmap becomes the scope, so you’re not paying to re-discover the problem.

  3. 3

    You want ongoing coverage.

An Architect Retainer keeps the store reviewed and the next problem caught early.

Questions, answered straight.

What access do you need?
Read-only production (or staging) access, plus admin and server/hosting details. APM data (New Relic, Blackfire, Datadog) if you have it — it speeds things up but isn’t required.
Will the audit risk or slow down my live store?
No. Measurement is read-only and non-invasive. We don’t deploy code or change configuration on your store during the audit.
Open Source or Adobe Commerce?
Both. Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce (Cloud or on-prem), Magento 2.4.x.
Can my own developers implement the fixes?
Yes — that’s the point. The PDF action plan is written to be handed to a competent dev team. If you’d rather we do the work, the audit converts into an Architecture Build.
How fast can you start?
Once access is in place, the clock is 5 working days. Booking a discovery call is the first step — we confirm scope and access there.
What if you find nothing major?
Then you have written, senior confirmation that your store is healthy, plus the smaller optimizations worth doing — and you’ve spent $1,500 to stop worrying about it. That’s a result, not a failure.
