Hi — I’m Mostafa, the architect behind SM Solutions.
A senior Magento + Laravel architect with 15+ years of building commerce systems that survive at scale. I started SM Solutions to do senior work the honest way — measure first, fix what matters, and never hand your store to a junior.
The short version
I’m a senior software and e-commerce architect based in Egypt, working globally. For 15+ years, I’ve designed and rescued commerce systems — mostly Magento and Adobe Commerce, with deep Laravel and platform work alongside.
I work bilingually (Arabic and English) across MENA, EU and US time zones, and I built SM Solutions to be the senior architect a growing merchant can actually reach — the one who measures the problem, ranks the fix by revenue impact, and is still there on the call when it ships.
The promise is simple: senior, evidence-backed, honest. Whether that’s an audit, a build, or ongoing coverage.
How I work
Four principles, every engagement.
A senior does the work — start to finish.
The person who scopes your project is the one who builds it and is on the call. No closer, no junior hand-off. When you hire the practice, you get a senior architect — usually me.
Evidence over opinion.
Every recommendation is anchored to a number measured on your system — load time, conversion, uptime, revenue impact. Not a generic checklist, not a hunch.
Honesty is the business model.
If your own team can ship the fix, I’ll say so. Plenty of engagements end with a roadmap and a handshake. Saying no when no is right is how trust compounds.

Production reality, not the demo. The systems I design are meant to survive your peak campaign, not just pass a staging test.
The practice, honestly
SM Solutions is a senior-led practice, not an agency marketplace. Today, that senior architect is usually me. As the bench grows, the standard doesn’t: senior on the work, no junior hand-off, the same person who scoped it on the call when it ships.
That’s why the site says “we” — it’s a practice with a standard — and this page says “I.” You should know exactly who’s accountable for your system. It’s me.
